FxTrusts scopes FIX connectivity for brokers, prop firms and institutional teams that need structured market-data or trading workflows. A proposal must identify the complete version stack, messages, data source, entitlements, environments, certification, security, hosting and support boundaries.
FIX 4.4 remains a supported FIX Trading Community version. For FIX 5.0-era implementations, the technical schedule must distinguish a bilateral legacy FIX 5.0 SP2 dictionary from FIX Latest and identify the FIXT session profile. “FIX 5.0” alone is not a sufficient compatibility specification.

How much does FxTrusts FIX connectivity cost?
FIX connectivity requires a scoped quote. Price depends on the exact protocol stack, messages, instruments, data source, entitlements, environments, certification, hosting, support and usage terms. The signed order form and technical schedule control.
What does “FIX 5.0” need to specify?
“FIX 5.0” alone is not a complete compatibility specification. The parties must name the application profile or dictionary, extension pack or errata, FIXT session profile, encoding, transport security, messages, fields and bilateral customizations. FIX Trading Community identifies FIX Latest as the maintained successor to FIX 5.0 SP2.
Does protocol access include market-data rights?
Not automatically. The commercial schedule must identify the data source, instruments, real-time or delayed status, display and non-display use, redistribution rights, environments, user or device limits and retention conditions.
What must be tested before production access?
Test logon and logout, sequence recovery, heartbeats, resend and gap handling, market-data state, supported orders, cancels, rejects, execution reports, disconnects, credentials, monitoring, reconciliation and escalation using the agreed certification cases.
